Reflection:
Do you ever feel like you don’t have what it takes? Have you ever been chosen for a specific role, position, or task and think, “Someone else would do this a lot better than I can”? While we don’t know why God calls us to take on a certain task, we do know that He will be in our midst as we work. He never leaves us, not even for a moment.
Sometimes God puts us in positions that are difficult and challenging. In time, these moments will be used to strengthen us. There are certain things that God wants us to learn by going
through situations.
The key is to keep your eyes on God. Know that He is for you. As St. Angela Merici states, God will not desert you. If you stumble, He will be there with an outstretched hand. Keep trusting,
and do not lose hope.
Prayer:
God, I sometimes don’t know why You’ve chosen me for this task. I can feel unqualified at times, and I don’t feel like I measure up to others. Help me to release these thoughts to You. Help me not to lose heart. May I live with a positive mindset. Keep my eyes transfixed on You. I love You! Amen.
