The Holy Name Society of St. Maria Goretti Parish is made up of all men of the parish age 18 or older. Our focus is on spiritual development through four pillars: Unite, Serve, Pray, Learn.
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
All men are invited to a new four-week video study series beginning this Tuesday, Nov.
18, titled “How to Advent,” hosted by our Holy Name Society. Produced by the
Augustine Institute for FORMED.org, “How to Advent” delves into rich traditions that
mark this season to help prepare us for Jesus’ second coming and for celebrating His
divinely miraculous, world-saving birth. Maximize this holy season and join your
Brothers in Christ for these next four Tuesdays from 6-7a in the Parish Narthex (Door
#5 from the south lot). Friendship and bottomless coffee awaits! For more, contact
Nathaniel O’Dell, [email protected].
All children and “kids at heart” are invited to our Holy Name Society's annual Advent
tradition, “Breakfast with St. Nicholas,” on Sunday, Dec. 7, in the Parish Hall after the
8am and 10am Masses. St. Nicholas himself – and a delicious, free-will offering
breakfast – will welcome all in the hall. You also can join the fun as a breakfast
volunteer by clicking here. For more, contact Steve Alic, [email protected].
