I want to wish all of our SMG families a huge welcome! I am excited and honored to be stepping into the role of St. Maria Goretti PTO President and to be part of such a wonderful school community. I am looking forward to a great year and to working alongside our amazing teachers, students, families, and PTO board!
A little about myself… My husband, Henry, and I have three children — Patrick, who is in 4th grade, Claire, who is in 3rd grade, and Joseph, who will be joining SMG Kindergarten next year. Our family has loved becoming part of the St. Maria Goretti community, and we are so grateful for the friendships, faith, and experiences SMG has given our family.
When I’m not at school volunteering with PTO, you can probably find me somewhere cheering from the sidelines! Our family loves being involved in all of our kids’ activities, especially volleyball, football, soccer and basketball. We spend a lot of time supporting our kids and their teams, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I am so excited to be joining the PTO board and especially to work alongside the wonderful ladies who dedicate their time, energy, and talents to our school. There is so much care and love that goes into making SMG a special place, and I’m excited to help continue that tradition.
We have so many fun things planned for the year, and there are countless ways for our SMG families to be part of it all — whether it’s volunteering at an event, helping in the classroom, donating items, supporting our teachers, coaching our student athletes, signing up for the Elijah Cup as a family, or simply showing up and cheering on our school community. We are so grateful for every family who gives their time, shares their talents, lends a helping hand, or simply joins us along the way. It truly takes all of us to make SMG the special community that it is, and we can’t wait to do it together!
Thank you for welcoming me into this role. I’m excited for the year ahead and for all the fun, fellowship, and memories we will create together. Most of all, I’m looking forward to supporting our students, teachers, and families and helping make SMG the wonderful community that we all love.
