Former 5th grade teacher Fr. David Huemmer, OFS, brings his interest in God’s creation and experience with environmental education to this partially outdoor retreat. This retreat begins with Morning Prayer and ends with Adoration, Daytime Prayer and Benediction. In between, Fr. Huemmer will utilize the book “God Made That: Catholic Nature Field Guide,” leading activities surrounding nature and creation. Mass, lunch and time for personal reflection will round out the day.
Care for Creation is a foundational Franciscan value celebrated in
Pope Leo XIV’s proclaimed Franciscan Jubilee Year—the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi in 1226.
This retreat begins with Morning Prayer and ends with Adoration, Daytime Prayer and Benediction. In between, guests will enjoy two conferences. Mass, lunch and time for personal reflection will round out the day.

Experience the wonder of silence and scripture on our beautiful campus. This Ignatian-guided silent retreat begins with conferences on prayer. Over the course of the retreat, guests will make holy hours with different scriptures taken from the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. Mass, optional Liturgy of the Hours with catechesis, optional daily spiritual direction, optional reconciliation, and plenty of quiet time to reflect on the scriptures is built into the retreat. This retreat is designed for guests who’ve completed a weekend Silent Retreat either at St. Joseph’s or elsewhere.

The Temple Knights of the Holy Eucharist is a high school fraternity that encourages teen boys growing toward manhood to stay active in their faith. The Knights fraternity also helps young men discern their future vocations as married, consecrated, or ordained Christian men.
